Under supervision with some latitude for independent action, performs data entry and retrieval functions in the City’s NYCAPS and NYCAPS R (health benefits enrollment data base) systems.
Reviews and processes applications and identifies incomplete applications and brings them to the attention of the supervisor for resolutions.
Minimum Qual Requirements
1. There are no formal education or experience requirements for this position. However, the ability to understand and carry out simple instructions is required.

Preferred Skills
Preference will be given to those candidates with 1 – 2 years of data entry experience, and good verbal and written communication skills.

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County.
