To provide responsible level clerical support to the department consisting of training and supervising staff so that staff has the capability to perform patient registration, fee scaling, obtaining managed care/health insurance authorizations and the receipt and processing of health insurance copayments consistent with the standards of a medical and/or surgical practice. Meet, greet and direct patients to designated appointment area. Answer telephones, direct calls, assist customers, and/or take messages. Make arrangements for Ambulette/transportation as directed. Update patient’s profile scheduling, including but not limited to, PCP assignment, etc.

1. A four-year High School Diploma or its educational equivalent and eighteen months of
satisfactory clerical experience.

Skills Requirement:
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per
minute.

Tour 2: 7am-3pm

Parttime/ 14 hours
