At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whānau.

The Office of the Deputy Secretary, Te Puna Rangatōpū provides high-quality strategic and operational advice to the Hautū – Deputy Secretary, enabling the successful operation of the group, and the provision of effective and aligned corporate services to the organisation.
Reporting to the Director of the Office, the Advisor will work as part of a team providing high quality and aligned advice to the Deputy Secretary. You’ll be energised and challenged by a role that is varied and busy, working with a supportive and friendly team.
You will operate effectively as part of the Office team to assess information and develop high quality information and advice. You will support the Principal and Senior Advisors to provide insights across work and will actively look for connections across the work of the team.
