NZME Looking for Early Edition Producer, Newstalk ZB at Auckland City Full Time

Newstalk ZB is on the hunt for a driven, up and coming news producer.

Producing Early Edition with Kate Hawkesby, this is an opportunity to be part of the morning team that sets the day’s news agenda.

You will have a great understanding of local and international news and know how to drive a story along. You will present the day’s news in a way that engages our audience.

Working for Early Edition requires flexibility, and the ability to adapt to sometimes rapidly changing scenarios. You will happily receive direction, and equally operate efficiently on your own.

This role would also give you the skills to see news from a broader perspective and be part of the driving force behind how these shows come together.

Production experience isn’t necessary, but a good attitude is. You will need a background in journalism, and preferably broadcasting experience.
