Job Descriptions:
Position Summary
The Closing Coordinator is responsible for administrative support to ensure closing occurs once a contract is fully executed by the Home Selling/Disposition Contracts team. The Closing Coordinator helps facilitate closing from signed contract to the close of escrow. The Closing Coordinator ensures all necessary documents are signed and completed in a timely manner. This position will work closely with other departments of the business to ensure the proper sell of a home.
Essential Functions
Work closely with Title to ensure the a smooth close for the Buyer and Seller
Work closely with the Buyer’s lender to ensure closing in a timely manner
Sign and send contract addendums to the Title company
Approve and send due diligence extension addendums to the Title Company
Work closely with the Repairs team to help ensure repairs are being done and all credit addendums have been sent to Title and to the lender
Resolve any HOA discrepancies
Manage daily tasks and resolve inbound questions or requests timely
Ensure all closing documents are correct and executed in a timely manner
Ensure ownership has transferred to the buyer upon a successful closing
Ensure compliance has all fully executed documents and a complete file ready to be audited
Required Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Strong organization skills, accurate, and detail-oriented
Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
Ability to operate in rapidly scaling, high-growth environment
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities and timelines to achieve results
Exhibits sound judgment and swift decision-making skills
Exhibit strong attention to detail
Ability to think creatively and come up with solutions
Ability to critically review, summarize, and report findings and recommendations
PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
