We are a boutique hospitality start-up company named Ohana Hospitality, currently with 5 high-end properties in Manhattan. We are all-in-one hospitality company; offering the turn-key experience to clinets with the added bonus of concierge. We design and fully stage the space, then we market it to high-end clientele and couples, finally we welcome them and enrich their time in NYC with concierge. Our goal is to provide the best hospitality and experience possible so that each client can create a special memory.

The word Ohana means family; and we treat our guests not as guests, but rather as family. This also means that we’re not just hiring an employee, we’re hiring a close team-member who is willing to collaborate, expand and grow this Ohana business with us. This is a multi-faceted role in which you will help welcome guests from around the world and also help behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. This job requires flexibility, and is an exhilarating and stimulating environment.

Our properties are located in Chelsea, Midtown West, Fidi, and Flatiron. While we prefer someone with experiences in the hospitality business, such as a hostess, we also understand this skill can be taught to an eager learner. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, positive, quick, flexible, and resourceful. We’re expecting 20+ hours per week to begin with, and if we expand as planned, even more.

Skills and tasks include:

• Welcome our guests in a polite and charming manner

• Shop for flowers, fruits, and wine and then display them for guests

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Effective communication with housekeepers to coordinate cleaning

• Ensure the space is up to our highest cleanliness standard

• Coordinate wash & fold pick-up and drop-off

• Running general errands
