Job Description

This role will be an integral part of our global Talent Acquisition team, contributing significantly to the growth of our business lines as we continue our transformative journey to revolutionize how we power our planet. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, sourcing, and recruiting top-tier talent for our organization. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and craft effective recruitment strategies that meet those requirements, all while ensuring a positive candidate experience from the initial contact to onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, conducting regular face-to-face and virtual meetings to gain a deeper understanding of their specific business area and talent needs.
• Perform targeted candidate searches and screening based on job specifications and client requirements, leveraging internal candidate databases, job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and other relevant sources.
• Champion diversity and inclusion, making it a core value of our talent agenda and contributing to the growth of a diverse demographic across Wood Mackenzie.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced recruiter who has successfully managed the end-to-end recruitment cycle and consistently provided exceptional candidate experiences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating domestically and engaging seamlessly with stakeholders. They will have a background in both agency and in-house Talent Acquisition teams and thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Additional Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering end-to-end recruitment strategies in line with client SLAs.
• Two to three years of experience in talent acquisition or a related role.
• Proficiency in recruitment best practices, including job profiling, sourcing, selection, and assessment.
• A solid understanding of pre-employment vetting procedures, including right-to-work checks.
• Up-to-date knowledge of market intelligence and industry trends, including new technology, recruitment metrics, and legislative changes.
• Proficiency in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions for proactive candidate sourcing.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
• Language Proficiency Requirement:
• The successful candidate will have a high level of English language proficiency for this role.
• Regional Experience Requirement:
• The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of recruiting in the Americas region, showcasing a deep understanding of the unique challenges, cultures, and markets within the region.

Expectations

• We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.
• The nature of this role precludes it from consideration for part-time or flexible working arrangements
• Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
