One Path Career Partners Hiring for Copywriter at Rochester, NY Full Time

Location: Applicants MUST be willing to work on-site in Rochester, NY and have a reliable means of transportation

Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Contract: 5 months

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

We are hiring for an experienced Copywriter! We are looking for candidates who can write strong and effective content across all media types for the purposes of acquiring prospects and retaining clients. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of in-house copywriting experience. Position Details:

• Writes effective copy to acquire prospects and retain clients.
• Strategically connects with target audiences.
• Develops compelling copy for all media types, including print, video, social, digital, and more.
• Works with Marketing team members to increase the quality and effectiveness of each piece.
• Works with other departments to help position the company in the marketplace.
• Understands competitors, customers, and roles in order explain product features and benefits.
• Contributes to the content planning process, aligning the needs of target audiences and the business.
• Ideates content and contributes to the editorial calendar.
• Ensures consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging/story across multiple platforms.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of copywriting experience.
• Experience managing an editorial calendar preferred.
• Proven and exemplary writer.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word is required.
• Self-Motivated
• US citizen or permanent resident status
• Successful completion of a background check
