The role

We are looking for a person who will find customers for us and generate revenue – that’s a very basic description of the job. Some basic tasks are:

– Make cold phone calls to parking lot companies, as well as any other facilities that require potholes repairment

– Engage in contact with them and establish trustful relationship
– Send emails (both cold and warm) for the purpose of finding customers

All in all, this is a very basic sales job. Goals and tasks are simple – find customers and generate revenue. From that revenue, you will receive 5% of commission, and after successful demonstration of your abilities, this commission will go up to 10% in several months. To us, it does not matter how many hours you work a week, you can make it a full-time role for yourself, a part-time or a more casual-basis thing – as long as you are putting in effort and earning commission, consider yourself a part of the team.

Some important facts to remember

– This is a strictly commission-based role. 5-10% commission for every successful sale. I could not remove the salary part on Indeed, however, from our experience, that number is something people should be expecting at the start. The reason I put $14/hr in the posting is because Indeed did not give the option to skip that step, so please ignore it.

– We are funded by the government of Ontario and required to fill a small application provided by the government called COJG, please look it up; if you have any doubts about your personal information used or questions regarding the form, I will be glad to answer them.

– Since the job is fairly simple and straightforward – interviews are fairly easy, and are more of a simple dialogue than a test; last thing we would like to do is waste your time and give you false expectations.

– The training will begin on May 1st and after several hours of training, you will be able to begin the role itself.

– We are NOT hiring people who have study permits, foreigners, or non-Ontario residents; only Work Permit/PR/Citizenship status applicants who reside in Ontario will be contacted back (even though this is a remote position).
