JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARYThe Global Client Account Manager is
responsible for all activities associated with providing distinguished
service to Breakthrough’s Global, Marine, and North American fuel
clients daily. A Global Account Manager must demonstrate strong
communication and critical thinking skills along with the ability to
build relationships with external clients and internal teammates. JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver distinguished service to Breakthrough clients
through timely and accurate work through multiple facets dependent on
the service offering. Enable flawless client transactions by ensuring
100% error resolution on a day-to-day basis. Build new relationships and
deepen current relationships with the current client base. Manage
carrier and other client-partner inquiries, requests, and relationships
through ongoing email, phone communication, and Breakthrough’s FELIX
platform. Partner with Senior Global Account Manager on account planning
in accordance with client events/initiatives. Advance existing client
relationships by promoting service offerings and deepening client
engagement. Learn transportation and energy industry best practices and
benchmarking metrics to apply to client relationships. Network analysis
and design for new clients and existing clients – including the support
of annual RFP events. Operational support of Marine clients with a focus
on providing quarterly updates to clients on fuel reimbursement as well
as the key inputs on lane calculation example slides used for
sales/marketing purposes. Support in shipper & carrier strategic
conversations as well as perform analytics. Travel to client sites to
discuss business opportunities and share industry best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree. Proven account management or other
relevant experience. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a
time while paying strict attention to detail. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client
relationships. Ability to present and influence credibly and
effectively. Availability to travel as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite. Supply Chain knowledge preferred not required. Schedule
Flexibility required to accommodate various time zones at times Previous
experience serving global clients preferred but not required. Allows us
