Lead Consultant/ Architect (m/f/d) for Engineering Information Management
Our customers build and operate power plants, drilling rigs, refineries, ships and pipelines and we provide them with the optimal solution for engineering information management.
As an OpenText Professional Services Consultant for EIM, you will advise our customers on the optimal use of OpenText technology. You plan our systems and integrate them into the infrastructure of our customers. With a lot of personal responsibility, you advise and support our customers and demonstrate communication skills and technical competence in direct customer contact.

You are great at

• Customer Deployment Projects
  • You introduce OpenText ECM products at our customers by planning, installing, configuring, integrating into the customer’s IT landscape and developing interfaces.
  • The aim of your deployment activities is to plan, optimize and implement complex system landscapes or to roll them out through the deployment stages.
• Cloud
  • You configure our Cloud PoC system for customer workshops and customer access during the test phase of a customer deployment project.
• Innovation
  • With your ideas and innovations, you help to build and improve PS solutions and applications which add value to the xECM for Engineering products.
  • By designing integrations in applications such as SAP, Office 365, Teams / SharePoint, but also CAD, CAE, GIS or Primavera, you design and implement solutions based on the latest OpenText technologies for our customers.
• Relationship to R&D
  • You become the trusted advisor to all consultants in the PS team and the influencer to R&D. In this role you are submitting product feature requests to the Product Management and R&D department based on customer feedback and industry trends.

What it takes

• Successfully completed Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Ideally 6 years of experience in project management with at least 3 project members and customer contact. You have experience in project management methodologies like Scrum or PMI. You are confident with project management tools like Jira, Primavera etc.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in more than one of the following Enterprise Content Management Products & Utilities:
  • OpenText SAP for Plant Maintenance or competitive solutions
  • OpenText Content Server
  • OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering (aka EDM)
• Excellent communication skills in English both oral and written, German language skills would be beneficial
• Certifications in OpenText Content Server is a plus
• Knowledge in web-based applications and technologies (HTML, XML, JavaScript) and knowledge of programming (in C / C ++ / C #, Oscript, web services or Java) is beneficial
