The Project Manager will be responsible for fostering grid scale wind,
solar, and storage projects through the pre-construction phase of project
development. Successful execution of this position requires clear and
consistent coordination of multiple project stakeholders including
developers, contractors, vendors, owners, and financing partners. The

What you’ll do:
Provide project management coordination and support for large and complex
wind, solar, and storage projects during the pre-construction phase of the
project.
Responsible for the supporting request for proposal (RFP) process for
engineering, procurement and construction services.
Responsible for supporting contracting negotiation process.
Support pre-construction activity including site studies, surveys,
preliminary engineering, and estimating.
Support internal project capital expenditure approval processes to secure
budget for Project Delivery scope.
Coordinate and support internal stakeholders including development,
commercial, and origination teams with information requests and modeling
efforts.
Coordinate and manage key project stakeholders including Balance of Plant
(BOP) Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor.
Manage equipment procurement as related to the Production Tax Credit (PTC)
and Investment Tax Credit (ITC).
Participate in the negotiation of key project contracts including Major
Equipment Supply Agreements and BOP-EPC Agreement.
Work with the Manager of Pre-Construction and other project stakeholders to
ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracking to plan.
Assess project risk and maintain project Risk Register during preconstruction
phase.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all parties
involved in the development of the wind project.
What you bring:
4-year degree in a related field or equivalent combination of technical
training.
Combined 5 years of project management (preferably in utility scale
renewable energy) and/or heavy construction management experience.
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
Experience with various project & construction management software tools,
e.g., Procore.
Demonstrated ability to be organized and work on multiple projects
simultaneously.
Strong Microsoft Software Applications skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Project).
Superior leadership, communication, interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of managing projects with results that meet all
stakeholder goals.
Ability to problem solve and achieve results by setting priorities and staying
organized.
Results oriented leader with the ability to work independently within a large
matrixed organization while effectively interfacing with the various
cross-functional employee groups.
Commitment to the advancement of renewable energy solutions across North
America
