Job Description

The Oracle Health Data and Analytics Platform is looking for an energetic, experienced algorithm content designer that will design population health algorithms that measure and improve the quality of care for millions of patients on the platform. Take regulatory quality measurement specifications from external entities and create clear and unambiguous engineering requirements for our software development teams. Ensure that requirements are in alignment with the platform’s data model and terminology systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret regulatory quality measurement specifications and create internal engineering requirements for our software development team.

• Write clear, unambiguous engineering requirements that meet the intent of the regulatory specifications while meeting the internal realities of the Oracle Health platform.

• Reduce communication inefficiencies between content and engineering teams.

• Perform data analysis and profiling preemptively to ensure that engineering requirements will function as intended with real-world data.

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL is a plus.

• Strong data analytics skills with Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.

• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely with different roles and across teams, including clinicians and engineers.

Hiring Range: from $70,400 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
