Services Business Analyst – Deal Management Global Operations
OVERVIEW
The Global Deal Management Change Enablement Team (CET) is responsible for working closely with Global Business Practices, Legal, PRG, GRM, Sales Ops and other external stakeholders to ensure global business practices, policies, and compliance requirements are implemented, maintained, and communicated to our process owners and systems experts. We serve as the first point of contact for questions pertaining to policy. CET also engages with our Global Deal Management Quote to Contract internal stakeholders to streamline and optimize the Global Deal Management delivery model in order to maximize our Customer’s experience.
The successful candidate has an advanced understanding of Oracle’s contracts, contracting systems, and business practices, is an innovative and resourceful problem solver, and a service minded leader with a proven track record of leading in a complex fast paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs reporting and analysis based on requests from GBP for Direct and Indirect.
Coordinates calls with cross functional teams for alignment and updates as needed.
Supports M&A activities as needed/required.
Build and maintain business relationships with Global Business Practices.
Work cross functionally within the organization, and other teams as required, to solve issues utilizing VUE (Validate, Understand, and Execute).
Enforce Oracle’s guidelines and policies.
Capacity to assess situations objectively and represent Services Global Deal Management (OCS, ACS/MCS, SubK and OU).
Strong ability to collaboratively and effectively work with cross-functional teams (GBP, Legal, PRG, GRM, Sales Ops etc.).
Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with external and external stakeholders to obtain buy-in.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Experience & Qualification:
Experience in Services Operations/Contracting, CPQ, ePact, and Services Policies.
Advanced MS Excel and proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Oracle reporting dashboards is a plus.
Experience working successfully in cross-functional teams.
Previous success in strategically analyzing and solving problems.
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
Excellent communicator (verbal and written).
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization’s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. 8 plus years relevant work experience.
