Job Description
This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given project portfolio which can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsibilities include people management, project oversight, and sales enablement. Accountable for fulfilling business goals, meeting budgets, maintaining project/portfolio profitability while ensuring quality of project delivery and maintaining customer referenceability.
Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve portfolio performance in support of strategic objectives. Responsible for solutions and pricing of proposals and supporting the sales process. Is accountable for managing a significant and profitable revenue stream. Typically manages multiple project/program managers and/or senior level individual contributors. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.
10+ years of experience relevant to this position, including 2 years of project or direct line management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities
Job Description
Primary responsibility involves delivery management of technology consulting service projects.
Manage every aspect of a project, including its work planning, financial/budget, communication, risk assessment, and resources.
Requires expert level communication, organization, problem solving and critical thinking skills. A self-starter, with the ability to track and manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
The individual must be well organized, with solid experience providing executive level communication/presentations and status reporting.
Duties
-Create and maintain a Project Work Plan with project tasks and estimated durations, project schedule; and project task dependencies.
-Manage, track and document project status while conducting regular status meetings with the client project team members and various stakeholders.
-Identify and document Project Risks and track/review/escalate Project Issues identified by the delivery team.
-Motivate team members to meet project goals by effectively carrying out their responsibilities
-Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities while managing projects
Requirements
10+ years of experience relevant to this position, including 5+ years of project management experience.
Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity.
Comfortable working in a matrix management environment.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills for dealing with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to Oracle Technology stack.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, PMP Certified a plus.
Ability to travel as needed.
