Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.
As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer needs for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.
Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication. Self starter. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Practical experience using the Internet. Typically graduate or equivalent with 0 – 2 year marketing experience.

Key responsibilities
The Product Marketing Associate will lead the go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, enablement, and content creation for a dedicated sales play (or multiple sales plays) focused on selling our Oracle Cloud HCM solutions.
Understand the unique needs of different internal customers, including sales, business development, product strategy, and demand generation marketing.
Use your creativity and writing expertise to develop compelling campaign content and messaging (e.g. messaging frameworks, customer presentations, ebooks, videos, blogs) hitting all stages of the marketing and sales funnel.
Be the go-to expert for your product areas and go-to-market initiatives—maintaining a deep understanding of the market landscape, trends, competitor capabilities, and customer use cases.
Define differentiation, positioning, and a crisp value proposition that is clearly understood both internally and externally.
Enable global sales teams with the training they need to be successful, and the tools they need to drive action (pitch decks, customer stories, battle cards, etc.).
Create end-to-end marketing programs to promote your customer-facing sales play content by partnering and leveraging web, demand generation, paid promotion, social media teams, and more.
Measure and internally socialize how your activities influence revenue growth, seller engagement, and customer engagement.
Preferred skills & experience
1+ years’ experience in product marketing or sales within the cloud technology sector, preferably the HCM or ERP space.
An exceptional communicator, who can write, present, and effectively adjust messages to meet individual audiences and organizations.
Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to convey messages in a clear, natural, and descriptive manner.
Track record of driving transformation and partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
Passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Strong program/project management skills.
Can translate ambiguous or conflicting information into concise insights.
Outstanding creative thinker with a customer-centric mentality.
