Job Description
Oracle Health is currently seeking a Director and leader of State and Local business development team! This division provides enterprise solutions and services focused on state agencies healthcare and technology needs. Oracle Health offers a wide range of capabilities, such as electronic medical records, population health tools, analytics, interoperability, health exchanges, professional services, cloud and data hosting.
As a Director and leader of State and Local business development team, you will manage the sales process for new business opportunities to meet sales goals within a defined territory/agency.  You will leverage client relationships and value creation to grow new business, sales pipeline and create demand within assigned territory/agency. You will also analyze market and competitive intelligence to develop sales strategies for highly competitive and complex agency opportunities as well as build and maintain strategic partnerships at all levels within the client organization.  You will consult with prospective clients and/or their benefit consultants on Oracle Health capabilities to clearly communicate strategy and vision; develop and progress innovative sales proposals that address the specific needs of the client; accurately forecast sales opportunities; lead contract negotiations; and manage pipeline and forecast to consistently drive sales opportunities to closure against a sales quota. Additionally this is a direct management position and the State and Local sales representatives will report to you.
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
6-10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education to include:
At least 7 years of sales in government ideally within the State and Local government
At least 5 years of sales experience building new business and meeting individual quotas within a defined territory
At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to negotiate and close federal contracts
Ability to directly manage teams and past performance leading teams
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Proven record selling EMR, life sciences, research, and public health solutions
Relationships within State and Local agencies
Ability to build account strategy focused on account penetration
Expectations
Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
California Pay Range: from $144,500 to $291,400 per annum. Eligible for commission and may be eligible for equity and compensation deferral.
Colorado Pay Range: from $152,500 to $291,400 per annum. Eligible for commission and may be eligible for equity and compensation deferral.
New York City Pay Range: from $161,800 to $291,400 per annum. Eligible for commission and may be eligible for equity and compensation deferral.
Washington Pay Range: from $161,800 to $291,400 per annum. Eligible for commission and may be eligible for equity and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
