Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

What our team needs:
We are looking for an ambitious, talented, energetic, and self-motivated Senior Member of Technical Staff for Subscription Plan Management (SPM) Enterprise Application in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Our team is a driven development organization, developing the applications that support all Subscription Billing and Customer engagement to the Cloud.
As Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will have the opportunity to build state of the art next generation cloud billing engine with a team of experienced designers and software engineers who are deep in the problem space at your side, and the strong support of Product, Engineering, and Executive leadership at your back.
In this role, you will be responsible for
Design, develop and enhance the Cloud billing Services leveraging OCI cloud native technology
Adopt the Cloud standard tools and DevOps standards, and practices.
Build CI/CD environments and streamline deployments for a variety of applications in the cloud.
Conduct code and architecture reviews of the products and services.
Resolve performance and scalability issues related to products and services.
Identify opportunities to improve the health, scalability, and resiliency of products and services.
Builds enhancements and handle complex production issue.
Mentor and train other team members on design techniques, coding standards and code reviews.
Building tools for monitoring complex systems and high volume transactions, and their integration with other business applications.
Identify problems before they occur.

Requirements:
5+ years of design, development, and deployment experience in building business applications in distributed systems.
Experience in architecting and developing solutions to large scale problems with impacts
Strong software development using JAVA, Oracle database, Weblogic, hibernate, spring boot framework, Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ , Docker/Container Images, Kubernetes (or) Strong UI build experience using Java Script, Node, React
Strong exposure on Source Code control tools like Git, Git Hub, Bitbucket
Well experienced in IDEs such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ
Should be aware of design best practices such as Event Driven Architecture
Experienced in Dashboard, alert, monitoring tools/frameworks like Grafana, ELK
Experience designing and developing microservices and building performance and test driven APIs
Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), strong knowledge of CICD and DevOps tools
Strong leadership and analytical skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Must be adaptable to change and ambiguities, organized, and work well in a local and global team environment across Geos
Must have a strong drive for success
BS or equivalent in computer science/engineering or relevant field. MS or equivalent in computer science/engineering will be desired

Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
