Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Detailed description:
As Software developer (IC4) in the PSR organization you will be responsible for understanding key Performance, Scalability and Reliability issues of our customers in Cloud. Work with internal stake holders to translate those issues into actionable product enhancements. Have a clear understanding of the release process and drive those issues to closure working with core development teams and release management teams. Track the improvements to be delivered to our key cloud customers. Develop a meticolous process to track and manage these aspects that is transparent and easily understable dashboards that can be used by all stake holders. PSR team members are flexibile, curiosity filled, self-motivated, proactive, and have an intense desire to achieve excellence. We continuously evolve to address our customers most pressing computing needs.
Job Requirements:
Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical problems related to computer software systems following standard procedures. Specifically, create repair scripts by setting up test cases in similar environments, analyzing data setups, and finding workaround solutions. Suggest a variety of technical resolutions, and assist users and analysts in solving technical problems. Will function as the technical interface to customers and apply knowledge of multiple platforms. May provide (technical) leadership to a group. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills. Must have an understanding of a variety of Oracle products in their competencies and in-depth knowledge of several products and/or platforms. Also,
should be highly experienced in multiple platforms and be able to complete assigned duties with minimal direction from management. Ability to act independently while researching and developing solutions to customer
issues. May be assigned to various projects that utilize Java, Weblogic, Unix operating systems, web technologies, web server applications, programming languages, Application Engine and Integration Broker.
Strong understanding of Java or an object oriented programming language / Kubernetes / CICD
Strong understanding on OPC / OCI working, oracle Fusion application products architectures.
Good UNIX Knowledge Linux and relevant OS, scripting languages like Ruby, Python, R etc.,
Good Oracle Database (RDBMS) knowledge
Good knowledge of SQL tools and SQL queries
Knowledge of Data Security, Data Scrambling, Data Masking
