The Cloud Identity team is responsible for the features and services that customers need to control access to resources and applications distributed across the Oracle Cloud as well as those that might reside locally with the customer. Cloud Identity integrates into all OCI services and span across OCI’s growing global footprint of cloud regions. The Solution Architecture team is chartered with accelerating success with Oracle Cloud Identity. The team consists of highly skilled specialists that blend experience and deep subject matter expertise integrating identity across applications and resources. Team members will work with a diverse set of stakeholders including senior executives, architects, development teams, and external partners to take ideas, turn them into mature products, and put them in the hands of the world’s most demanding customers. Members of this team will have a passion for solving difficult problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, a knack for creativity and innovative thinking, and a strong sense of empathy for both customers and engineering teams.

Responsibilities will include hands on work across the following areas:

• Engage with Product Management to participate in the authoring of early stage materials (presentations, solution white papers, customer success stories, and marketing decks) and related business solution demonstration scenarios that highlight Cloud Identity capabilities.
• Partner with internal and external customers to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient identity solution integrations.
• Define gold standard target architectures.
• Engage across Oracle to help define and deliver select proof of concepts.
• Act as a technical liaison to prospects, customers and partners.
• Engage with customers and the field to ensure business needs can be addressed with Cloud Identity capabilities.
• Participate in meetings and conferences with customers and partners to serve as a liaison between Oracle internal organizations such as technical support, customer success and product development.
• Exchange best practices and share knowledge within Solution Architect and Cloud Engineer Community.
• Maintain alignment with Marketing and Product Management of existing and future platform capabilities and help drive product innovation.
• Keep up to date with any new OCI solutions across the business units. Understand functionality and interoperability with Cloud Identity.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
