Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
We are specifically looking for a Technical Program Manager to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Storage Services Group to manage capacity and drive critical programs for the File Storage Service Team.
The program manager is responsible for ensuring the operational success of Oracle’s cloud expansion strategy by maintaining a consistent inflow of new hardware for File Storage Service while also managing the growth of OCI’s largest customers. Key deliverables for this role include demand forecasting, monitoring key capacity and utilization metrics, triggering hardware orders to plan, tracking incoming racks and driving resolution of any constraints, utilization spikes, or inorganic capacity request.
This role interfaces primarily with large internal customers to develop migration plans and timelines, infrastructure and supply chain teams to manage future hardware inflows, as well as local and regional sales teams on large deal capacity ramp plans. Other deliverables include helping with efficiency initiatives as well as bringing improvements and automation to the end-to-end capacity planning process.
Projects widely vary, but as Program Manager, it could include manage the development and implementation process for all aspects of interdepartmental product delivery, involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products, release management, platform migrations, operational excellence, business process, plan and direct schedules, monitor budget/spending, manage projects from initiation through delivery. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of departments and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
Preferred Skills/Experience: What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Technical Program Manager, you will
Manage projects from inception to delivery
Coordinate with stakeholders across the engineering, data center, business operations and product management teams, Estimate and support capacity needs, work with supply chain
Support technical integration projects
Establish new programs to support a rapidly scaling business
Lead executive initiatives on emerging business challenges
Tremendous problem-solving skills, project management, strategic planning (including getting into the small details), work in high growth/fast paced environment
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MBA is a plus
8+ years managing large scale technical programs
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities
Excellent collaboration across multiple internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain our roadmap, setting appropriate expectations and ensuring our product and services meet our high standards for excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing cloud development storage projects, especially in the storage space.
Experienced in high tech, S/W environment, familiarity with Compute/Storage solutions
