Dura-Line is growing fast creating what connects us and transforming the structure of communication. We are currently hiring a driven and innovative Sr. Product Manager that will be influencing cross-functional teams to drive product ideas from concept to production, solve product-related questions or performance issues, manage process improvement projects, offer input for marketing content development, and assist on new vendor selection/approval. Take the lead and use your passion and ingenuity in this role to provide proactive technical leadership to help quality manage customer complaint process using standard root cause problem solving and analysis, countermeasure documentation, and learning knowledge passed through appropriate functional groups and team members.
We are in search of someone that has a mix of business and technical problem-solving skills, is eager to learn, is a great communicator, and wants to lead Dura-Line’s North America Product Management including regional team members, product harmonization, product offerings, and product development. This is a vital role to the organization as you will lead a team to develop product management documentation and control procedures for the life of the product and use standard practices for new product introduction coordination.
In this role, personality is crucial and communication skills are required as you will need to bring your customer-centric and open-minded approach to articulate thoughts and influence direct and cross-functional teams. We are looking for a business or engineer strategist that can bring products to life. To hit the ground running, you must have a strong foundation and 5+ years of experience in a Product Manager role which will help you to drive change while building relationships and partnerships and influence other functions to accomplish related goals and objectives.
It is important that you have a thirst for developing new products utilizing approaches such as the Waterfall/Agile development models. The Regional Product Manager will be responsible for the local product life cycle management including the development and implementation of new product launches in coordination with North America’s regional Sales, Solution Architects, R&D, SAP Material Master, Operations/Manufacturing, and Marketing teams. Passion is in every role we do; we need an energetic person that can lead a team, has intellectual curiosity, and has enthusiasm for the mission.
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter that wants to be a builder of ideas and innovation to manage product development activities while being active in participation in regional industry standards/regulatory boards and committees to drive positive outcomes for Dura-Line. A thought leader for standard product performance monitoring, reporting, or competitive activity management and someone with experience in the infrastructure/telecommunication and/or manufacturing/plastic pipe extrusion industries will be a plus.
In addition, you will participate in the technical community of practice by providing process coordination to develop centralized standards for training materials, curriculum delivery, technical support information, and problem-solving best practices, by designing tools/programs with the flexibility to adopt standards to the company culture.
