Software Engineer – Quant Trading Firm – $200-300k

*NYC or Miami based*

A quantitative research and technology firm that specializes in building + implementing automated trading strategies for the financial markets are hiring multiple Software Engineers – across C++ / Java / Python.

The company uses advanced machine learning, data science, and mathematical modeling techniques to analyze vast amounts of data and identify profitable trading opportunities.

Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance the tools, platform and algos for trading and research
• Work in a highly performant, low-latency environment on complex technical problems
• Be part of a fast-paced, high achieving, agile engineering org

Software Engineer Requirements

• 2-5 years of C++, Java or Python experience – ideally on complex systems
• Worked at big tech or trading/finance is a big plus (things like HFT, FIX, Connectivity, Market Data, etc)
• Required: CompSci or similar university degree – strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms etc.
