The Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support for the CI program, ranging from preparation analytics to gauging success of CI activities. The CI Analyst will coordinate with coworkers to perform follow-up activities post improvement closure to ensure that expected results are maintained.

Reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager
Primary Duties and Responsibilities, other duties may be assigned as business needs determine:
Continuous Improvement Analysis
Participate in CI activities, Kaizen events, etc. determining level of analytical support necessary to achieve objectives. Assist in setting scope and objectives for each event.
Communication and leverage finance support as needed.
Analyze pre-activity data / trends and perform post event audits.
Provide proactive communication regarding project impacts and alert team members where unexpected results occur.
Evaluate opportunities for improvement, identifying potential impacts using data collection and observation methods.
Administer employee suggestion program.
Assist in preparation and planning report outs and best practice sharing documentation.
Assist in the development of the continuous improvement training program.
Education:
Bachelor of Science preferred.
Knowledge & Experience:
3 or more years’ experience in a high volume, repetitive manufacturing environment.
Experience using analytics as a tool for directional improvement.
Experience working with Lean, Continuous Improvement and 6S projects.
Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
Solves problems analytically, searching out relevant information and gauging its importance when making decisions.
Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional, and quality manner
Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms
Creative thinker
Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed
Set a good example of personal integrity
Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes
Take initiative, seek and act on opportunities to improve organization performance
Ability to translate specific goals into action and follow through to achieve goals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)

Available to work on site as required by job
