OrePac Building Products Hiring for Paint Shop Associate at Sacramento, California Full Time

POSITION: Paint Shop Associate

LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM

PAY: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, D.O.E. + quarterly/annual performance bonuses based on branch/company performance

We are currently looking for a Paint Shop Associate to prep, spray, and stain doors and trim parts, and package the finished products for delivery. This position will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, as well as a clean and safe work environment. Our ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and prioritizes safety. While prior experience is definitely a plus, we are happy to provide training and we welcome those who are new to the field!

  WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Prepare product for spraying

• Paint or stain doors and trim parts to order

• Package finished products

• Perform maintenance and inspections of equipment

• Read and understand orders as received

• Review all finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality of work

• Analyze and resolve work problems

• Work to maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Enact company policies and abide by safety regulations

  WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to perform all job functions safely

• Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift/move/manipulate up to 100

• 1 year of related experience (preferred but not required)
