About the business and the role

Oriental Merchant is an established importer/distributor of Asian grocery products. We are looking for our next warehouse superstar to join the team in our Mount Wellington Warehouse!

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be bulk picking grocery product orders, which includes lifting heavy items. The environment is busy and requires a high attention to detail and awareness of your surroundings.

This is a full-time permanent role.

Requirements:

• Full New Zealand working rights
• Having a MR or HR licence is an advantageous.
• Experience as a pick/packer or warehouse assistant would be a great advantage, especially if your experience includes palletising/driving a pallet moved and RF scanning;
• Have a track record of accuracy and productivity
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have high attention to detail
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
• Have a positive attitude and able to work well in a team
• Comfortable lifting 20kgs of weight
• Valid New Zealand Driver’s Licence and access to own car is advantageous due to the nature of the role and location of the warehouse
