The role:

We’re looking for a Discovery Lead reporting directly to the Head of Asset and Spatial Intelligence. The successful candidate will primarily focus on leading the discovery function to provide data intelligence, spatial analysis, cartography, insight presentation. A little more about the role:

• Lead your team from the front with an innovative and collaborative approach
• Collaborate across the business to lead the validation of hypotheses and investigations into solving problems
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to develop and deploy analysis delivering on business insights and hypotheses
• Proactively identify potential areas of analytical focus to improve business results
• Lead projects to enhance the analytics team to drive actions and decision making
• Provide mentoring, support and growth to the Asset Information team
• Deliver on the diverse data needs of the Orion business

A little more about you:

• Relevant degree qualified in Computer Science or GIS or equivalent with proven experience in your field
• Extensive knowledge of analysis theory, applications, geospatial information and data processing
• Ability to engage across all levels of the business, with pride and passion for what you do
• Ability to lead a team with a value driven and customer centric approach
• Ability to engage and build strong credible relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• The ability to see the “big picture” with a strategic view and solution focused outlook
• A great sense of humour, positive attitude and the ability to influence change
