About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Casual Sample Reception Technician to join our team. In this entry level role, you will be responsible for the timely unpacking, registration, and management of samples for our laboratory. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will ensure the smooth flow of operations and contribute to the success of our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and register samples into our systems
• Manage the storage and distribution of samples to subcontractor laboratories
• Track sample movements within our database systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in sample storage areas
• Stay updated on ongoing programs and manage daily workload
• Follow operational procedures accurately and efficiently

Requirements

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role, which could include inwards goods or warehouse environment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule and reasonable availability for casual work
