Ornua is a dairy co-operative which sells dairy products on behalf of its Members, Ireland’s dairy processors and, in turn, Irish dairy farmers. The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients.
Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Kerrygold, Avantage, Forto, and BEO. Markets are served by production facilities and in-market sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, and the US.
Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

The Role
The Business Process Administrator is a key supporting role for Customer Services management team to improve the Supply Chain Operations end to end business processes.
The successful candidate will have, or will develop, good knowledge of the current business processes and experience in the development and application of “best practice” frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role within a B2B environment. They will assist in supporting the work needed to improve current and future business processes, helping to identify future solutions and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Business Process Understand the current Supply Chain Operations business processes and how the master data is integral to support and enable them Deliver process training or contribute where required, including creation of and periodic review of training materials, communication materials and KPIs Develop and maintain a suite of performance reporting tools to support the execution and management of the Customer Service orderbook Identify any inadequacies or improvement opportunities in business process, data or systems impacting on the Supply Chain Operations team Take on super-user responsibility and assist with building process knowledge with end user of Customer Service business processes Assist Supply Chain Operations Management team in the development of concepts and business cases, gather business requirements and ensure that the documented requirements meet intended objectives Provide feedback and assistance with any testing activities undertaken to ensure that the system built fully meets the design process mapping at varying levels Support the development of a continuous improvement culture and provide operational process excellence to the Supply Chain Operations team
Change Management:
Assist with implementing change management best practice for business as usual and project activities that impact Supply Chain Operations and potentially other Ornua stakeholders
Ensure effective communication is delivered for changes across Supply Chain operations and other Ornua stakeholders.
Stakeholder Relationships: Develop strong working relationships across Ornua business communities Develop a wide network of cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate the early identification and resolution of potential issues Establish and build strong relationships with external contacts/networks to maintain and develop technical expertise and knowledge of best practice
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role within a B2B environment
Proven interest in continuous improvement
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent IT skills
Sound knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Strong communication, team working and stakeholder management skills
Self-starter, with ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
