What will you do?

• Patient Services Associate is responsible for coordinating and providing patient support services such as answering phones, directing calls, greeting patients/visitors, maintaining patient medical records via EMR or paper charts, assisting with patient scheduling, registration and check-in of patient, performing office functions, and handling patient payments as applicable.

What are we looking for in our next new hire?

• • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • One year of customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skill in problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload

Preferences

Experience in working in a Medical setting. Data entry experience with basic understanding of insurance and billing procedures.
