ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Higher Education Sales team with their sales efforts in the field. Responsibilities also include completing administrative and customer support tasks. They interact with customers to answer questions and provide product recommendations. Key accountabilities include:

• Fulfil phone, email, web, and mail requests for desk / examination copies from instructors

and sales representatives.

• Work with sales representatives to provide rush sample copies and communicate on

issues of stock, shipping, publication dates, and shipment tracking.

• Manage relationships with digital vendors and provide access to digital content.

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the sales team, such as photocopying, filing,

and mailing, and assist with sales conference planning and preparation, and direct sales

campaigns.

• Participate in sales assignments as required, such as researching competition, assisting

with sales efforts and territory coverage.

• Work with SalesForce.com database to update sampling and assist with sales efforts and

data entry.

• Answer customer queries and provide solutions and product information.

• Manage general sales inbound queries.

• Work with global team members to provide current information and updates for import

products.

• Product listing, pricing and product customization

ABOUT YOU

• Post-Secondary degree or diploma
• Organized with a focus on detail, accuracy, balancing multiple priorities and the ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet research required
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Sales and Salesforce CRM preferred
