Pacific Rim Shellfish is a dynamic and growing seafood company that was founded in 1977 with our retail store, the Lobster Man on Granville Island. Since then, we have prospered into one of the largest wholesalers and exporters of live shellfish in Western Canada. Our federal plant is registered with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and follows guidelines of our own HACCP program. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate outgoing and incoming shipments to ensure exceptional customer service and high productivity for the company’s operations.

Prepare shipping documents, including invoices and bills of lading that accompany outgoing shipments, plus export/import documentation for international shipping and receiving

Prepare wholesale invoices using Sage Accpac and SPS Commerce

Oversee the quality control process for export shipments

Help answer office telephone inquiries and orders

Handle day end closing by performing daily invoice action and completing daily sales records

Assist with ordering supplies and materials

Filing and data entry as required

Maintenance of customer files, sales records, inventory folders and export files

KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to read and communicate in English – Mandarin and Cantonese is an asset

Bachelors degree in a relevant field

Strong job specific computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Dropbox, Google Drive, Sage Accpac

Minimum of 3 years experience in sales administration

Excellent time management skills and detail oriented

Experience in the food industry or international trade is an asset
