PAK’nSAVE Looking for Baker’s Assistant at Tamatea, Hawkes Bay Full Time

Tamatea PAK’nSAVE is looking for someone with a passion for baking to join our team!  Maybe you love to be in the kitchen making cakes, muffins and slices and would love to be paid to do it!  We have a new role for a Baker’s Assistant, helping our bakers to make muffins, ice sweet breads, roll pastry and have the opportunity to see what it is like to be a baker.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Sunday to Thursday from 6am – 2.30pm.

The Role;

As a Baker’s Assistant, you’re assisting in the preparation and production of pastry products, cakes, muffins and other freshly baked goods.  This is a high volume department where we produce a lot of product fresh each day.  This role could progress into a Bakery Apprenticeship for the right candidate who is willing to learn and give their best each day.

The work environment is busy and dynamic and will require you use your initiative, and have excellent communication skills. We pride ourselves in developing our team from within and there will be development opportunities for you to progress if you wish.

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
