This position includes responsibility for all recruitment efforts within a designated geographic region including public speaking, visiting high schools and college fairs/programs, application review, interviewing, and handling special projects. Managing Admissions support personnel. Ensuring there is proper admissions determination. Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly requirements
Assist prospective students by assessing their skills and interests and guiding them through the enrollment process.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Recruit and interview prospective candidates for admission
2. Develop, coordinate and implement a recruitment plan for an assigned geographic territory to include:
a. correspondence (letters, notes, phone contact, e-mail, etc.) from to and from prospective students and their families
b. meeting with prospective students and their families during campus visits
c. travel within the assigned geographic territory to include visits to high schools, college fairs, programs and receptions
3. Welcomes students by actively participating in all steps of the enrollment process (required paperwork, qualifications, campus tours, financial aid, and obtaining schedules)
4. Provides adequate and accurate information relative to admissions
5. Assist students in selecting their programs of study based upon professional judgements, available test scores, high school, and/or college transcripts
6. Qualify applicants for admission who meet the stated college admissions requirements
7. Utilize good use of time by making all required phone calls, follow-ups, generating referrals and other daily activities in pursuit of departmental objectives
8. Consistently performs the activities that support individual and overall team admissions processes by following policies and procedures
9. Ensure adherence to the approved annual departmental budget
10. Provides feedback to department managers on how to improve the overall quality and efficiency of the admissions department
11. Generate and review applications for admission
12. Provide support and analysis to assist senior staff in making strategic decisions and implementing new initiatives within the Enrollment division. Specific projects and areas of responsibility will be assigned according to previous background and office needs.
13. Five to eight weeks of travel visiting high schools, hosting events and receptions and attending college fairs
14. Counseling and advising
15. Work with student and alumni volunteers
16. Lead and collaborate with on campus personnel in the development and execution of on-campus events and projects
17. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Certification/Licensure: None required
Experience: Minimum 3 years clerical/secretarial experience required. Experience in data processing preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
ü Ability to handle minor student problems and work with students, parents and staff members
ü Must be Proficient in Google & Microsoft Suite
ü Knowledge of basic office procedures
ü Ability to handle confidential information
ü Ability to compose and compile correspondence from a variety of sources
ü Ability to navigate educational websites and systems
ü Prior experience with infinite campus preferred
ü Must be able to work effectively with District and school personnel, parents, and students
ü Ability to work with minimal supervision
ü Must be detailed and task oriented
ü Excellent organizational skills and customer service skills
ü Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
