Overview:
The File Room Assistant will assist with organizing received loan documentation. The position also includes administrative tasks. This person must possess the ability to communicate effectively with service center personnel and members. He or she must be self-motivated and able to follow directions without constant supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Sorts and prioritizes all incoming mail into correct bins according to classification and identification number, including recording the member number on received titles.
- Pull documents requested from loan officers and other staff members.
- Perform administrative duties including faxing, copying, distributing mail and ordering supplies.
- Scan incoming Consumer, Visa and Adverse Action/Withdrawn/Expired loans in a timely manner.
- Log Consumer, Visa and Adverse Action/Withdrawn/Expired loans with the correct received information and dates.
- Able to utilize our computer system to perform general research.
- Coordinates cleanliness and security of the work area and safeguarding of member information.
- Handles all other related tasks assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to verify completeness of files and presence of specific documents.
- Good organization skills and ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to perform non-complex mathematical calculations.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
