The Opportunity

Are you an enthusiastic Dairy Farm Assistant looking for your next role, join our team on Eyrewell Dairy Farm.

You will join our close-knit team, and your main responsibilities will include milking, fencing, spraying, feeding out and general farm duties. You will also work with the stock including calf rearing.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure continuous work in a large farming organisation with opportunity for growth and development. Personal development is encouraged and supported, with all team members encouraged to upskill, through Ag ITO.

The Farm

Located in West Eyreton, 10 minutes from Oxford and 25 minutes from Rangiora. This is a 400 effective ha farm and milks 950 cows through a 60-bale rotary, rearing heifer replacement calves. The location offers easy access to a range of recreational activities.

About You

You have a positive can-do attitude, and a passion and enthusiasm for dairy farming.

You Will Also Have

Some experience with livestock would be an advantage but is not essential.

An exceptional attitude towards Health and Safety, and Animal Welfare,

Sound knowledge of current NZ dairy farming practices.

Experience in Farm IQ, Milk Hub or any other FMS is preferable but no essential.

Restricted or full NZ driver’s licence is a must.
