Sounds good so, what’s the role?

You will join a small, dedicated software development team that work on our core internal collection software that is used by over 300 staff daily to interact with millions of Australian customers. You will be developing in Angular, .Net Core and MS-SQL with opportunities to look into new technologies including React and Azure.

Great, what will I be doing?

• Developing in .NET, Angular and MS-SQL
• Developing and maintaining new and existing REST APIs
• Peer reviewing of code
• Working with business analysts on requirements analysis
• Working with testing team to ensure acceptance criteria are met
• Working in an agile methodology with daily stand ups and other agile ceremonies
• Contributing to forming effective business solutions through brain storming sessions

Ok, what do I need to succeed in this role?

You will definitely need to be have:

• A degree in software development
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in software development with .NET/.NET Core
• Experience in writing MS-SQL queries
• Passion for contributing great technical solutions to complex problems
• Ability to work both within a team and independently

It would also help if you have:

• Exposure to REST API development
• Experience with secure coding practices
• Experience in using Azure DevOps for project management
