Greets patients and visitors promptly; responds to patient questions and concerns; provides on going communication with appropriate staff/physicians regarding patient status.
Fulfills patient care responsibilities which includes checking schedules, organizing patient flow, accompanying patients to/from exam rooms and assisting patients in/out of building.
Obtains accurate patient demographics when registering patients and enters all information correctly into appropriate fields.
Review and obtain patient signature on all applicable registration forms and documents.
Copies and scans patient insurance cards on new patients and each time the insurance changes; obtain patient’s referring provider and preferred pharmacy location.
Enter patient health history and any corrections made on demographic sheets; scans all paperwork into Athena.
Reviews patient’s account for any unpaid balances prior to service; communicates to patient our billing/collection policies and procedures; collects past due amounts; refers patient to Patient Accounts department as necessary.
Collects all applicable co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles or cash payments at time of service and post to appropriate patient account; provide patient with payment receipt.

Minimum two (2) years Healthcare Experience working in a high volume physician office.
