The Business Analyst Intern is expected to establish him/herself as a key advisor to individuals within the Global Project Leader (PL) Organization, in steering a project or set of projects to their targeted operational goals (e.g. on time, on budget, with quality). As such, the Business Analyst acquires an understanding of the project delivery and profitability drivers. Under supervision, he/she assists in translating them into operational actions, and proactively advises the PL on how to influence critical operational levers.

The Business Analyst will interact directly with Project Leaders and Specialists, Functional Leaders, and Finance. The main success factors of this role include business acumen, and a basic understanding of project management key concepts; strong technical, analytical and consulting skills. The Business Analyst is expected to centrally track and support key financial drivers associated with margin and cash flow. He/she will also proactively help new project teams launch and contour their resource demand forecast as well as support ongoing projects with routine resource requests and demand forecasts that are in line with their scope and budget.

The Business Analyst will receive training in the Parexel system for resource planning and gain exposure to the Parexel Clinical Development Services. He/she will be assigned to support a portfolio of projects within Global Project Leadership. Qualifications Undergraduate student studying Finance, Business Administration, Accounting. The main success factors of this role include business acumen, and a basic understanding of project management key concepts; strong technical, analytical and consulting skills.
