Position Summary: This position performs shift-to-shift and day-to-day
staffing functions to determine, in partnership with the Administrative
Nursing Supervisor (ANS) and the Patient Placement Coordinator (PPC), a
staffing plan to provide coverage of staffing needs for the patient care
units within Methodist Hospital. This is a frontline employee position
who will create and provide needed reports, complete real time data
entry, and deliver efficient time sensitive information to employees,
charge RN’s, ANS team members and leadership. This position will
utilize processes and policies for both non-contract and union contract
employees. Education/Experience: 1) Associate degree or 2 years’
experience in a staffing or customer service environment 2) Problem
solving skills in a fast paced continuously changing environment 3)
Experience with strong oral communication and interpersonal skills 4)
Highly reliable and accountable to team Special
Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: 1) Ability to work well in a
team environment 2) Mathematical ability 3) Excellent customer service
skills 4) Organizational skills 5) PC and data entry skills 6) Ability
