Position Summary
Basic Function: Provide advanced clerical and administrative support to the Parker Service Center
Scope/Supervision: Works closely supporting customer service and other department personnel, and on a limited basis customers, under the guidance of the Customer Service lead person and Office Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Enter orders
Verify & proof order entry for accuracy
Allocate customer orders daily
Print, fax and distribute facility reports
Input inventory receivers
Answer telephone calls and reception
Perform filing and labeling duties as assigned
Sort & File orders shipped daily
Invoicing
Print, proof, stamp and highlight allocated orders for production
Process and distribute Priority orders with urgency
Complete monthly Audit Trail for incomplete shipments
Collaborate with Divisions/Customers to resolve inbound discrepancies
Work with Divisions/Suppliers to address nonconforming inbound shipments
Work with other Parker Service Center locations to resolve intransit discrepancies, both inbound and outbound
Qualifications
Requirements:
High school graduate
Previous experience with Mainframe system, Email and PC data entry
Previous clerical support / receiving experience
Excellent d telephone skills
Excellent organizational skills
Must be detail orientated and produce a high-quality product
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Must convey a professional image with a positive attitude
Skills:
Strong data entry skills alpha and numeric.
Must be detail oriented.
Strong keyboarding skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong customer orientation
Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent editing skills/proofreading
