Parkgate Farm Market Looking for Stocker, Cashier at North Vancouver, BC Full Time

Park gate Farm Market is a specialty produce and grocery store, we are looking for long-term part time/full time Cashiers/Produce Clerk for our North Vancouver.

Cashier’s responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:

-Greets customers and creates a friendly shopping atmosphere -Operates cash registers, point of sale equipment and other equipment for processing transactions -Receives and processes payments by cash, credit card or debit accurately -Balances the till at the end of the shift and prepares reports regarding cash balances -Weighs produce and bulk goods, wraps and places merchandise in bags. -Open/Close store Cashier experiences is an asset, will train. produce store experience will be a good asset.

Produce Clerk Responsibility:

1. Work closely with Store Manager and Produce Manager to ensure the success of the department through excellent customer service, ABLE TO LIFT 50LB Max.

2. Assist customers in locating items as needed.

3.Address customer complaints or concerns in timely fashion.

4. Process customer orders in accurate and professional manner.

5. Create warm and safe environment for customers and store employees.

6. Handle large volumes of customers in cheerful and friendly manner.

7. Maintain knowledge of products and operations of all produce departments.

8. Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking and displaying of products.

9. Identify and dispose all produce, which is no longer suitable for sale.

10.Maintain company safety and sanitation guidelines.

We offer the successful applicant 1. $15-$17 / hour (commensurate with experience) 2. Employee 20% discount.
