Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Dispatcher are to receive and manage daily customer orders for precast concrete products and environmental equipment. Develop and schedule orders with respective plants/scales and participate in coordinating trucking delivery requirements using our truck fleet, outside haulers, and LTL operators. Work closely with plant shipping/QC operators and assure that correct products and quantities are delivered in a timely manner relative to customer requirements. Work closely with the sales group and customer’s personnel with respect to order needs and issues with a focus on developing and maintaining effective working relationships.

• Organize item orders by editing for price, promotions, weight compliance
• Manage Inventory Control
• Arranges shipments by checking stock to product status, anticipating delivery requirements, placing and expediting orders
• Responsible for keeping records and monitoring driver daily logs for errors or violations
• Coordinate scheduling of daily customer product deliveries and quality control
• Review Dispatch billing with the accounting department
• Assist Will-Call with new sales and customer requests of small and large items
• Assist Drivers with GPS/directions and update their daily E-Log
• Provide exceptional customer service for order placement via email, phone or with walk in customers
• Protects organization reputation by keeping pricing, promotion, purchase order, and credit-limit information confidential
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Comply with all ParkUSA policies, procedures and guidelines

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Logistics preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the logistics field
• Construction/Trucking Industry Experience preferred
• Computer-savvy, willing to learn specific ParkUSA programs
• Effective analytic skills with ability to quickly identify problems
• Excellent verbal, reading, and writing communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of safety practices/procedures within this industry
• Able to read, write and speak in the English language. Bilingual preferred, but not required

• Proficient in safety regulations and quality control-related items.
• Must have sufficient visual acuity and clear speech to perform the essential functions of the job effectively.
• Able to learn, organize and prioritize work as necessary.
• Stand/bend/stretch/reach/kneel/crawl/climb
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs when necessary
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with an attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as a team member, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships

• Possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
