Job Description:
Parsons is the Construction Manager of the Giant Mine Remediation Project. This is a world class remediation project using innovative methods to deliver a safe environment. The project is expected to last over 10 years and is located just outside the City of Yellowknife, NWT.
Role:
The role will be for an Administrative Assistant to work with the site team. The preference would be to work from site in Yellowknife, however remote work from Calgary will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
Various administrative task including, clerical, data collection, data entry, and report writing to assist the technical staff as requested.
Attending meetings and taking minutes and distributing the minutes to attendees.
Following corporate document control processes.
Gathers statistics and general data; reviews and combines this information into established reports.
May establish and maintain records of equipment, including a log of equipment service dates.
Ordering office supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma 3+ years of relevant experience, or Administrative Assistant Certificate
Experience and proficient with Microsoft office suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Driver’s license required.
