Partly Looking for Account Manager at New Zealand Full Time

Note: Partly is headquartered in Christchurch but has employees spread across NZ, AU and UK. If relocating to Christchurch, we would cover those costs. If working remote, we would pay for any visits to HQ (at least once per quarter).

Partly’s mission is to connect the world’s parts. We’re building the first global platform for replacement parts, starting with auto parts. We’ve more than tripled our team over the last 12 months and expect to double in size over the next 18 months. We’re a global team spanning both Europe and Australasia.

This role
The Account Manager will play an essential role in working between our Customer Operations and Sales teams. You’ll communicate with clients across the globe, work cross-functionally with our Data, Product & Engineering teams, and ensure both new and existing customers are set up for success.

You will begin by reporting to Nathan Taylor (https://www.linkedin.com/in/nathan-r-taylor/) (Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer) and will work alongside our future Director of Customer Success.

What will you do

• Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
• Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in-person meetings
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

• Forecast and track key account metrics
• Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
• Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our solutions
• Be responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships
• Liaise between the customer and internal teams

Your skills

• You are a proven account management or other relevant experience
• You have experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
• You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• You love speaking to customers and understanding and solving their problems, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You are a natural relationship builder with strong empathy skills and an ability to relate and speak in the language of the customer
• You have excellent time and project management skills. You’re always looking to improve inefficient processes
• You have experience or an interest in automotive or parts
