About the Role
Patra is seeking an FP&A Manager to help oversee the management and ongoing development of the FP&A function. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance, this individual would work closely with business unit leaders and interface with executive team members to deliver accurate and timely insights into the financial performance of a fast-growing, B2B technology-enabled insurance services company with global scale.
Work collaboratively with other functional areas to identify and create efficient processes for the accurate reporting of key data/insights.
Develop and maintain financial packages used for communicating monthly and quarterly performance to key stakeholders of the business.
Perform variance analyses to uncover insights into Patra’s financial performance. Work with Patra’s business leaders to identify root causes for the performance and identify ways to further improve operational and financial performance.
Assist the Company’s strategic decision-making through the thoughtful use and analysis of available financial and operational data.
Help build and scale a high-performing, global FP&A team across geographic regions including N. America and Asia Pacific. The ability to interact with team members across different time zones as necessary is essential to this role.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 5-10 years’ experience in an FP&A, investment banking, consulting or other corporate finance role(s)
Expertise in analysis of financial data and preparation of financial reports, statements, and projections
The ability to communicate company performance effectively to internal and external stakeholders
Experience working with financial planning software
A strong knowledge of accounting concepts and budgeting principles, with experience in KPIs/metrics that drive business performance and understanding the factors that influence them
Highly organized, with a strong ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize deadlines in a continually evolving environment.
Deeply analytical with outstanding communication and presentation skills, and a growth mindset.
