Job Description Summary:

The Third Party Risk and Controls Manager will be responsible for risk and control reviews supporting PayPal’s Third Party Management Program. This central team within the First Line of Defense is comprised of TPM trained professionals with a strong understanding of all risks and control expectations relevant for the execution of the TPM program. The Third Party Risk and Controls Manager will balance internal and external critical stakeholders, ensure operational efficiency & support a frictionless customer experience. The successful candidate should also be able to offer a strategic perspective, sound business judgment, ability to adapt to changing priorities at hand, and be able to effectively work and communicate collaboratively / cross-functionally with multiple teams located in different geographies. Candidate must have a hands-on approach, strong intellectual curiosity and attention to detail and organization, and a passion for achieving practical business impact.

PayPal is looking for a new member of a team responsible for managing Third Party Risk & Controls at PayPal Holdings, Inc.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure data and information used for Issue Management Reporting is sourced from the appropriate system(s) of record
• Work with divisional business partners, source system liaisons, technology partners, and functional areas to identify/resolve issue management data issues and enhance data quality
• Partner with and engage Business Units and Functional Areas to confirm data accuracy, issue detail in support of reporting processes and formatting/messaging of reporting content
• Prepare and distribute monthly management reports while maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy
• Analyze and compile data/information related to enterprise, legal entity, and individual business unit issue management activity
• Coordinate the gathering of additional information and/or data from contributing sources and entities for aggregated reporting efforts
• Respond to ad hoc reporting requests (i.e.: unique reporting requests that are not supported by an existing standard management routine)

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate broad security knowledge across common industry security standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, PCI, FFIEC, SOX, SSAE16, and others)
• Possess either of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, or GIAC
• Strong technical knowledge of security technologies and architecture in multiple security domains (such as infrastructure hardening, privileged access, data security, endpoint security, anti-malware, network security, application security and others)
• Experience in developing security standards and implementing technical controls to meet standards and regulatory requirements
• Advanced MS Office skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Database
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college (Information Technology, Information Assurance, Cyber Security or related disciplines preferred) or experience equivalent
