Purpose of this role: Be part of the PayU team! We are looking for team players who delight in their work and embrace innovation. This role offers an existing combination of sales, management, and problem-solving skills to quickly build and maintain relationships internally across all PayU regions as well as vertically, across merchant organizations. What you will do: Design a strategic plan to grow the portfolio of merchants ensuring profitability and permanence in the time. Demonstrate strong project management skills in the interaction with key internal stakeholders and close collaboration with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to Risk, Pricing, Legal & Compliance, Integration, Operations, Technology and Product. Monitor client performance continuously and design action plans according to the results of this studies. Ensure account performance in terms of sales, profitability, quality, and service Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards, avoiding churn of merchants Work with autonomy looking for solutions and proposing new products based on the experience with the clients. Proactively and recursively identify clients’ needs. Design programs and strategies that help customers fulfill their goals. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards. Build and maintain product knowledge within clients. Keep abreast of product enhancements and latest industry trends to provide feedback to product and sales management teams. Own end to end account management of assigned accounts. What you’ll need to succeed: Be based in one of our key hiring locations or be able to work from there – in the USA the following states: California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Virginia, Nevada, Washington, and Florida state Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, finance, or other business area. 6+ years of account management of enterprise level accounts Relentless drive to succeed and strong self-motivation Solid understanding of online payments, e-commerce, card acquiring and alternative payment methods Strong international and multicultural experience Structured consultative selling approach and methodology, understanding of key stakeholders on the account Consistent over-achievement track record in sales Ability to manage upsell opportunities on existing accounts Experience of working in both large multinational and ideally more entrepreneurial companies Ability to manage senior stakeholders – internal and external – irrespective of reporting lines Ability to project manage deals through risk, compliance, operations, and other functions requirements with a problem-solving attitude About us: At PayU, we are a global fintech investor and our vision is to build a world without financial borders where everyone can prosper.
