PCL Construction Hiring For Learning and Development Analyst Student at Edmonton, AB Full Time

We are seeking a Learning and Development Analyst Student for our North American Headquarters (Edmonton, AB) who is available for 4 months starting in January 2023. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Senior Analyst, Learning and Development.
As a Learning and Development Analyst Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
- Participates in stakeholder meetings to understand business needs and requirements.
- Assists with development of standards and process to reflect current state.
- Assists in analysis of data to identify and recommend opportunities for optimization.
- Reviews and updates learning resources (quick reference guides and videos).
- Completes Learning Management System maintenance tasks such as redirect pages, catalogue clean-up, and evaluating and entering new Learning Objects.
- Tests Learning Management System functionality and new system releases.
- Completes PCL Connects (Intranet) maintenance tasks such as edits, testing and updating links.
- Assists with document management structure and maintenance.
- Assists with Service Now tickets and customer service inquiries to effectively resolve incidents alongside various support teams..
- Researches, makes recommendations for best practices and industry trends.
- Communicates with immediate supervisor and provides regular updates.
Qualifications
- Ability to think logically and analytically, and to constructively express ideas and concepts.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint (PCL Intranet), Visio Professional (process development), Cornerstone LMS (Learning Management System), Service Now (technical service tickets).
- Ability to build written documents such as training guides, online learning scripts, and proposals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team to tackle problems.
- Ability to communicate verbally with other team members and groups.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
