PDQ Staffing is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our client in a Manufacturing Environment out of Mansfield, TX.
Administrative Assistant Shift – 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday with some Overtime.
Administrative Assistant Pay – $18.00/HR

Administrative Assistant Job Description –
-Update Safety related information for GEMBA boards on a daily basis. This process involves accessing the the clients SharePoint site and updating how many Near Misses, First Aids, and Injuries (if any) occur on a rolling weekly basis. Participate in the daily GEMBA meetings and record any information that was discussed in the meetings as it relates to safety.
-Orientation at least twice a week, using the recorded New Hire Safety Orientation PowerPoint presentation to all new full-time employees. Conduct and lead the Facility Safety Tour after each orientation. Setup calendar invites with new manufacturing employee’s supervisor for 60 days in the future from their start date
-Review Texas contractor status using the Contractor Compliance website. Export the list of contractors to an Excel Spreadsheet, make minor adjustments to the list and print for Security on a biweekly basis. Collect from Security, the Visitor Sign In Sheets and track all contractors to ensure they are in the Contractor Compliance database. If contractors are not, follow up with the hiring individual for more information.
-Collect from Security new employee information (including: name, facility and badge number) and generate their profile in the PPE vending machines under general access. This will be reviewed on a weekly basis.
-Collect all Safety training quizzes and enter them into the Safety Training Tracking Spreadsheet and send to the Learning and Development Team.
-Assist the Safety Team with recording notes, safety suggestions, and gather inspection forms from Safety Committee members.
-Conduct a chemical inventory of all chemicals currently used on the manufacturing floor and upload/cross reference the MSDSOnline database to ensure all are accounted for and organized by specific departments. Ensure all chemicals have appropriate container labels and download all chemical label information into the DuraLabel printer database.
-Capture job information, measurements of workstation heights, part numbers, employee information, etc. and record on the Ergonomic Assessment Spreadsheet.
